BIPV glass
We have advanced glass deep processing technology and a design team specializing in glass solutions. We take full responsibility for offering you a wide range of comprehensive glass application solutions, including glass effects, process design, sample production, processing and production, and collaborating on projects.
Technology Introduction

BIPV (Building Integrated Photovoltaics) glass is a special type of glass that compresses
solar photovoltaic modules, utilizes solar radiation to generate electricity, and has relevant
current extraction devices and cables. Photovoltaic glass is composed of glass, solar cells, film,
back glass, special metal wires, etc. In the production process, cadmium telluride power gener
-ation film is coated onto conductive glass through multiple vacuum coating processes. Then,
through a laser cutting process, the power generation film is cut into slender small batteries and
integrated into a large component. Finally, use the rear glass for packaging, handle the lead wires,
and install the junction box.
BIPV glass used in photovoltaic power generation is TCO (Transparent Conductive Oxide)
conductive glass. TCO glass is a transparent conductive oxide film uniformly coated on the surface
of flat glass through physical or chemical coating methods. This type of glass not only effectively
collects battery current, but also has high transparency and anti reflection functions, allowing most
of the light to enter the absorption layer. The application of photovoltaic power generation glass not
only provides energy, but also improves the aesthetics and environmental performance of buildings.

Advantages
Multifunctionality: BIPV glass combines the functions of power generation and building materials, and needs to meet the requirements of building material performance, such as insulation, wind resistance, rain resistance, light transmission, and aesthetics. Customized design: BIPV components can be customized according to the design needs of the building, including different colors, shapes, and sizes, to achieve harmony and unity with the architectural style and surrounding environment. Application scope: BIPV glass can be applied to various building parts such as roofs, walls, windows, etc., providing diversified building solutions. Technical advantages: Compared with traditional BAPV, BIPV has advantages in better building appearance, design life, roof stress, waterproof reliability, and construction difficulty and speed. Economy: BIPV systems can reduce additional building material requirements, lower system costs, and have good long-term investment returns due to their power generation capacity. Environmental benefits: BIPV systems help reduce the use of fossil fuels, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and have a positive impact on environmental protection.

Application

It is widely used in building energy-saving, automotive anti glare rearview mirrors, displays, and other occasions that require dimming functions.
